A Spider-Man Multiverse is Coming
For the last few weeks, rumors have been floating around on the inter-web about the upcoming Spider-Man 3 (the one with Tom Holland as Spidey/Peter Parker and Zendaya) being the vehicle to combine ALL of the Spider-Man films into one shared universe.
In early November, news dropped that Jamie Foxx will be reprising his role as Electro, which we were first introduced to in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (the one with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone). A curious announcement, but ok not really evidence.
Today, the Hollywood Reporter announces that Alfred Molina will be reprising his role as Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2 (the one with Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst)!
Now the rumors and speculations have exploded! Rumors of a live action Sinister Six (first hinted at in TASM 2), and bringing all of the Spider-Men together into one film are running rampant. This is being reported by Collider as fact.
So if we get to see the Sinister Six AND the bringing together of all the Spider-Men from the last 20 years, how Amazing would that be?! The Credible Nerds hope that Sony and Marvel are able to pull this off and that they can make it great. .
What do you guys think? Will we see a Spider-Man multiverse manifested in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 film? Do we want to see it?
