Stranger Things is Coming Back!

The latest season of Stranger Things has been in production for awhile now, but today we have a release date! This fourth season will be released in two parts, implying that it will be a longer season and will have more episodes! Volume 1 will be released on May 27, 2022 and Volume 2 will release on July 1, 2022.

With the tagline “Every Ending Has a Beginning”, which is very Phantom Menace-ish, implies that the story is about to end. But with an already determined and announced Season 5 to be released in the future, I’m not sure how this season will end. I can imagine that with the two parts, that part one will end with a big cliffhanger to draw in the audience in anticipation of the next half premiering about a month later. I also wonder if maybe they will release the episodes weekly, but probably not as it’s Netflix and that isn’t their model.

They’ve also released some teaser posters with some locations that they show will be visiting, and yes one of them is Russia! (*Hopper!). We see the Creel House, Russia, the mental hospital/lab, and California. It also looks like the Hawkins friends are split up and are on different adventures, so that will be very interesting to see who pairs with who and why and how they are able to work together (or not).
