Ezra Miller will be reprising his role as Barry Allen/The Flash in this film. He will also be joined by Kiersey Clemons reprising her role as Iris West as we saw in Zack Snyder's Justice League.
In February 2019, it was announced that Sasha Calle will portray Supergirl and will appear in The Flash Movie as well. It was also previously announced that Ben Affleck will also be making an appearance as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the film. Also, while rumored for some time, EW.com is now reporting today that Michael Keaton will also be making an appearance as Bruce Wayne/Batman! We may get to see Batfleck (Earth Prime) meet his Keaton Batman (Earth 89) counterpart! (*Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne/Batman lives on Earth 2.) Or Barry Allen may travel through the multiverse and meet the Batmen separately on their own Earth. Details are yet to be revealed.
How is that possible you ask? As we saw in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Barry Allen has the ability to run through time, but he can also travel through the multiverse, as we saw in The Flash TV show on CW in 2020’s Crisis on Infinite Earth’s. These episodes were based on the 1980’s DC comic book series called Crisis on Infinite Earth’s that brought all of the multiverse together, and we also go to see the superheroes from these other universes and how they interacted with other superheroes and villains on their world.
Also, you should read DC Comic’s Flashpoint arc, or watch the animated film The Flashpoint Paradox, as it is rumored that The Flash Movie will be influenced by that story arc.
As a side note, Benjamin Wallfisch is set to compose the score for the film. Wallfisch has previously worked with Andy Muschetti composing the film scores for IT Chapters One and Two. Wallfisch has some previous experience in the DC Film Universe as he also scored the Shazam! film.
