More Info About Book Four of Brandon Sanderson’s Secret Project Revealed!

Brandon Sanderson has revealed the title and the first ten chapters of the fourth book he wrote in secret and that will be included in his Secret Project. Sanderson is calling this one “Stormlight adjacent”, meaning while it’s part of the Cosmere and the Stormlight Archive series, it’s not directly connected to the existing Stormlight Archive story…yet. It sounds like its something from a future situation and that it will become more relevant or understandable later on in the series.

If you’re not aware of the Stormlight Archive series, it’s a series set in the Cosmere and is scheduled to be a 10 book series with the first 5 books bieng a story about a group of people, and then the last 5 books being about another set of people. Sanderson is currently writing book 5, so we don’t know much about the direction the last 5 books will go (at least right now). My guess is that book 4 of the Secret Project will be set somewhere in the last 5 books.

The title of this fourth book is The Sunlit Man, and it involves one of Hoid’s/Wit’s apprentices. This one will be released in October 2023. Check out the YouTube video of the announcement and commentary below.
