Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Cast Announced!

Today StarWars.com announced the cast for the upcoming Disney+ show - Obi-Wan Kenobi. We get to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones!

Obi-Wan Kenobi, the new Disney+ special event series starring Ewan McGregor as the iconic Jedi Master, will begin shooting in April.

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

I’m super excited to see Evan McGregor back as Obi-Wan Kenobi (post Revenge of the Sith), as well as Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Plus we get to see Bonnie Piesse and Joel Edgerton back as Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.

I’m looking forward to seeing who the other actors are playing and how they fit into the story!
